History
Sept.1968 I traded my ‘56 Chevy for this - then brand new - Warwick Yellow Monaro GTS 186S with Saginaw 4-speed ($90 extra).
Mid ‘70’s: 308 crate motor and metal flake Warwick Yellow.
Early ‘80’s: 9” diff, bright yellow paint, spoilers, radiused wheel arches. Driven daily until approx 1995, then sat in shed for 20 years.
2015: total rebuild. Now running 327 (approx 370 bhp), original Saginaw, disc brakes all around (Hoppers Stoppers), 9” diff (3.25), American Racing wheels -17x8 front with 235/45 & 17x9.5 rear with 255/45). Interior very little repair from original. Bodywork and paint job (custom colour “Bright Idea”) done by self (67 y/o retired farmer).
Now driven and enjoyed at every opportunity.
