Memories
This was the beast that made me fall in love with cars. Not the prettiest, definitely not the most reliable, but Sally the Celica had the most heart, and personality you just don't get in new cars. While others might call it a "hassle" that you couldn't use the aircon while going less than 60, or that she once broke down on a first date, I say she just has her quirks. She would do just about anything you asked of her (including move a queen mattress, bar fridge, BBQ and 4 adult male passengers). I not only learned to drive in this car, but also learnt a plethora of car mechanics with her too. Some of my favourite memories are of oil changes and starter motor replacements along side my Dad and step dad. This is a car that makes you create bonds with those around you; friendships solidified by near accidents as she slid through intersections in the wet; quality time with Dad while learning how to change a spark plug; and I even married the girl from that infamous first date breakdown. Sally was more than just a car, she was a character.
