Thanks man, she's no 'show pony' she gets driven daily.
carnut_73
That's good. I've never liked show cars. I like a car that can be driven daily.
PonyRider
What do you think Carnut ?
Should I get some Vinyl paint and change it to Black ?
Or leave it Red ?
Photo of Centre Console below.
PonyRider
Yes Carnut, it simply fits in place without any attachment,
it is just a padded arm rest, and a compartment for odds & ends
and two cup holders.
It is red, though the car's upholstery is black vinyl,
but I am reluctant to Vinyl Paint it Black, I kinda like the red.
I'll live with it for a while and see.

Don't change a damn thing with the car. I love the colour. I love the condition.

The signature on the Glove Compartment lid is "Craig Lowndes"
a champion Aussie race driver.

Carnut_73 I only have one photo of interior, showing dashboard etc.,
Since then I have added a centre console given to me by my Mechanic.
Note the Factory Air-con in a 1966 car !
The Americans knew how to make cars more comfortable !
carnut_73
Nice. Have you installed the centre console? :)
carnut_73
Do you have any interior pics of the car?
PonyRider
Thanks Carnut_73 ~ She's a fun machine.
You would see quite a few 'ponies' like mine in your neck of the woods I bet.
Hope you are staying safe, healthy and happy over there !

G'day, PonyRider. Sweet looking Mustang. My sister-in-law had one similar to this 40 yrs ago. Hers was black with red interior.
PonyRider
RajkoDobrota Yes I prefer the 'cleaner look' less cluttered Grill too !
RajkoDobrota
thanx mate, yeah I do know the 66 as my mate has one! I saw this "Mechanical Pony" and just loved it! I took the original coral and pony off and replaced it... went on so perfectly! I prefer the cleaner look on the grill.
