Having raced a 1971 Holden HQ GTS in the Touring Car Masters for many seasons, the time is almost here (March 2014) to debut Bendigo Retro Racing’s latest muscle machine, the SL/R 5000. Gary O’Brien and the team at Bendigo Retro Muscle Cars designed and fabricated custom panels for the current Toranas in the Touring Car Masters series, and will soon finally complete their long awaited Torana project that has seen delays while the workshop crew continue to work on keeping the rest of the TCM field looking good and going strong, while providing premium results for the vast group of classic car enthusiasts who come from near and far for the ultimate in classic car build and restoration.
