History
The Rover P4 series was launched at the 1948 Earls Court Motor show in London Uk by Rover Ltd who were builders of refined cars for the upper class, doctors, accountants and senior business managers. The P4 was an entirely new design post war taking influences from the American trend for 3 box shape and the newer ‘pontoon’ styling which carried it through to the end of production in 1964. Originally delivered in Auckland in 1964 and private import by owner to Australia in 1980’s. This is a 3 owner vehicle in original condition with all manual, books and history. Fully maintained and in good running order in original condition. Smooth reliable drive and comfortable highway cruiser. Some further minor rehabilitations underway including fitting a period look modern radio, updated front anti roll bar and minor works. The vehicle is road registered for everyday driving.
