ONE OWNER FAMILY CAR FROM NEW (1965) IN VGC...............has only done 60,000 miles from new and nothing has broken or failed since 1965 except for a new Clutch Pack for the Automatic tranny. The only items ever changed on the Engine other than normal items like Plugs and Points, is the water Pump and the PCV Valve. The Original radiator has been overhauled once........... The only items ever needing replacement on rest of car, other than service items like brake shoes, fan belt, hoses, thermostat, and the odd globe, Idler arm Bushes and 4 shockers, Alternator & Regulator renewal, has been the Automatic Transmission!.............Soon as possible, the Front and Rear Suspension and all Steering Joints will need to be replaced. Crazy as it sounds, no oil leaks have appeared at the engine , Tranny or Diff !
I was transported around as a toddler in this beautiful AP5 Regal sedan, and now living the dream to drive it ............it has never had a radio and aerial fitted ever !...... Even on a Regal, this was an optional extra !
