4th Owner, car originally bought from Dubbo BMW dealership in 1996 (1995 make). Best car I have ever owned in power and handling. Can see why it won car of the year in 1995. Paid $7000 from a dealership and photo was taken the day I bought it. Currently 310,000km and still going strong. 0-100 in 6.8 secs.
The 540i was finially traded in on another car and I got $500 dollars for it. The car had completed 380,000km and was 21 years old, all achieved on the original motor.RIP 540i.
