History
I bought this car from a mate back in 2008 as he was downsizing to something more 'fuel efficient'. The car had been a victim of fresh water flooding when my mate bought it. He fixed everything and drove it for 10,000 K's before i bought it in July 2008.
When i bought it it had 105,000km's on it and i bought it for $11,000.
No dramas at all with the car, has been a safe, reliable and great looking car.
It came optioned with Tint, Cruise Control, SRS airbags [usually in the calais or higher], abs and an SS spoiler
After Easternats 2012 [It wasn't an enterant] It shat a thermostat which cooked the motor & blew a head gasket. It was a perfect opportunity to convert the vx to an LS1 6 Speed Manual.
I bought a hyper yellow ss from the pickles auctions and set to work.
We got the conversion completed fully in 72 hours. Stripped both cars and put my Equipe back together.
My car now supports an eye catching Hyper yellow ss interior, complete with cluster & dash, LS1 engine with a 6 Speed manual and 3:45 diff gears.
A big thanks to Cameron & Greame Jones, Dean Mosert, Pumpa Hayward, James Keddie & Nathan Dilger for all the help and support for getting it done.
