History
I was looking for a car and I love hatches so that was necessary. I was searching for a car with AWD for the Canadian winters and I wanted a manual trans too. That was my checklist which basically forced me into a golf R. I honestly really didn't want to spend that much money on a car that's gonna cost me a whole lot in insurance and break on me in a couple of years. I knew about the CT but the car being hybrid was a huge turn off. My brother was in the market a for a new car as well and was at a Lexus dealer. He sends me a photo of the CT and the IS350 he now owns. They were sitting in the lot next to each other and he wrote, "I think I found your car." The situation was too perfect so I gave the car a try. The cars so fun to drive and I instantly fell in love. No massive F-sport grill, no crappy modern safety features. I Worked 6 days a week to pay it off in two years. Now it's mine and I wouldn't ask for any other car.
Modifications
F-Sport lowering Springs. I wanted a drop but I got to keep OEM spring rates. The car came with 17x7 Lexus wheels. I Never liked the look of them and the old owner demolished them on curbs so I switched to a 18x9 JR36 set. I'm on 245/35 PS4S.. messed up on tire size so there's stretch right now but next time I'll be running a 265/35. No fender modification and no rubbing. I want to do more with the car but I have more important things to put my money into right now and no one wants to hear the I'm gonna do.
