History
This was my father's first vehicle. It has sat in a covered shed on our old family farm for over 30 years, so a real barn find really. My old man always wanted to restore the car but he is quite ill at the moment and won't be able to do so. I have decided that I'm going to restore it to its original specs and show him the car every couple of weeks for his enjoyment.
Modifications
None at the moment but I want to replace the front drum breaks with disc brakes. I've spoken to my mechanic and have decided to remove and store the original engine and replace it with a 302 small block Windsor V8 from an AU Falcon. We will remove the EFI and hence all the computer problems and replace with an old school carburetor.
