History
Purchased in 2014 from Gloucester, NSW. The car was previously "tidied" in various ways making it suitable for daily driving but leaving room for further restoration and personalisation. After almost a year of ownership and being driving at least 3 or 4 times a week I started a restoration and servicing schedule.
To date the following has been rebuilt:- the engine (Works by Wilson, Southport), the gearbox (Wilkinsons, Biggera Waters), the head (Glberts, Southport), the back axle (Nerang Differentials) and many parts from The Healey Factory in Victoria.
I am a member of the Austin Motor Vehicle Club of Queensland and the Gold Coast Antique & Classic Auto Club - I'd recommend membership to any other Austin owners as the wealth of knowledge from the Austin club as their offers of guidance has been extremely helpful.
