Restored to 'as it left the factory' in the original colour with the original engine.
This car had an interesting life, the first owner was an older man who died when it had about 10,000km on the clock. It stayed in the widow's garage without moving for 10 years when the second owner (from Nimbin…) bought it. It still had the plastic on the door cards etc.
He proceeded to drive the snot out of it, used it as a work ute to build his house on top of a mountain, let his son use it to go to Uni etc. It clocked up many more kilometres (over 500000!). I bought it about 13 years ago and it was my daily commute in Brisbane peak hour traffic to get to work. It was pretty tired so I have had to restore nearly every part of the car. The metal work was surprisingly straight and no tragic rust. Hopefully it will serve me for many years to come.
