I bought this "Granddad Special" for $3000 as a part car. The body was pretty beat up from the 88 year old former owner and had been sitting for a while, but the interior was mint and only 77,000km on the clock.
After a good clean up, i just couldn't wreck it.
A couple of bumpers, some trim and she was good as new.
Sold her for $6,500 to a guy who had been looking for a good one for years and got some much needed project funds.
Everyone's kicked a goal.
