History
The â46 Pickup was still registered as a daily driver in California up until August 2014 when it was exported to the Central Coast NSW by Nick from American Imports and cool stuff at Tuggerah.
We intend using it as a promotional vehicle at our Signadvice premises at West Gosford.
We will try to keep the bodywork as original as possible, adding some old school signwriting
Modifications
This is Great 1946 Ford Pickup Short Bed Rust Free Patina Queen.
It runs and drives great which has newer brakes front and rear so itââ¬â¢s safe on the road.
The electrics were rewired with a Painless Kit and has great electrical system, every works just fine.
Engine is a great running Chevy 327 with a 4 Barrel and awesome sounding exhaust.
Transmission is a 3 speed manual with a good clutch which shifts like it should.
Interior is in very nice shape, nice seat, all gauges work and even has aviator lights on gauges.
The inside is very simple and in great shape for itââ¬â¢s age.
Body is beautiful, perfect patina, all original metal with NO rust at all ( some surface rust in the bed but was originally wood bed).
