History
Owned this car for 13 years.
One of only 288 made, the "series 2" AMV8 is one of the rarer Astons. This vehicle was made for one of the directors of Company Developments (the company that owned Aston Martin Lagonda in the 1970s). It has a vantage front spoiler and centre console that were not normally factory options for the series 2, but may have been "optioned" for this car given it was for one of the company bosses.
Modifications
The troublesome Bosch mechanical fuel injection has been replace by a Motec EFI system, and as a result the car runs much better and is mechanically more reliable.
Other standard features on this model include electric windows, mirrors and power steering.
