Bought my genuine Hz sandman as a rolling shell. No suspension, fuel tank, engine or front end! Thankfully the original chassis matches tags & the body had evidence of the original paint & blackouts underneath a different green. The original glove box & lid & steering column & seats where still in the van!!
I have collected all the parts & built the van to original specs over the past 7 years.
I just got her home from the paint shop & have got an authentication certificate to verify that she is an original HZ sandman with Supermint paint and slate black trim!
I'm stoked & really enjoyed building her up to former glory with the addition of 308 & t5 trans. Purchased as a wreck in March 2009 and got her registered in March 2019.
