History
A fantastic and fun and reliable little car, âBlack Bettyâ was a reluctant sale for a new toy in the garage, went to a good car enthusiasts home to be enjoyed a little longer. Also a shame Holden dealership had no idea about their own model cars when it came to servicing though, seems they couldnât comprehend it was a 1.8L engine or that a girl in her 20âs would know anything about cars and sort second opinions before being ripped off for thousands of dollars on engine replacements not needed!
Many a cross country road trip, and a move to Tasmania. She thrived on ethanol blended fuels while in Qld (where more readily available), and just wanted go like the wind in the cold climate of Tassie.
