My third early Land Rover, bought from Shannons actually, in January 2016. The car had evidently been in Goulburn, not far from us, and had had some significant mechanical work completed, but for some reason was then left standing for a long time and she wasn't running at all well. However Land Rovers are very simple and basically she was in great condition, just needing a general overhaul. A beautiful new set of seats were brought from England, new carburettor (which transformed the performance), new tyres, new wiring, locating or making of lots of rare missing bits, and a lot of general sorting, and really, now it goes absolutely anywhere. The Landy is invaluable on our farm, carrying our generators and spray kit, dogs, visitors and farm animals, towing harrows and all manner of farm gear and going where no-one else would dare to, as well as regular trips into town. Absolutely brilliant!
