History
Our Morris was sold new in Brisbane and in about 1980 was refurbished in preparation for an around-Australia camping trip. Unfortunately, a few days before it was due to leave and while parked in a suburban driveway in Brisbane, the home next door burnt down, and the truck was heat damaged, and the trip cancelled. It then moved to Mount Elrington at Braidwood in about 2000. In 2009 it moved to Mill Pond Farm in Braidwood where it was integral in the heavy work of clearing the ruined historic property, and transporting materials for major restoration works of the historic Mill another buildings. In 2017, the engine was rebuilt and the truck moved to Darwin, NT, where it has undergone a full restoration.
