History
The Republic was delivered now to the Melbourne Flower Markets as one of two lorries used for deliveries until after WW2. It went to Tasmania in the 1950s and then to us about six years ago. As far as we know, this may be the oldest surviving Republic truck, all others that we have found are post WW1 or transitional models with later radiators or internal hub reduction gearing instead of the open chains on this example.
