History
1962 falcon with original styling including 170ci six cylinder motor was purchased sight unseen 11yrs ago and freighted down from Darwin to Central Coast.
The XL became a project car for the best part of 12 years.
Modifications
This pure white / turquoise finished exterior has an engineered fitted rebuilt 1965 Mustang 289ci (4.7L) small block Windsor V8, aluminum heads and intake, roller rockers, competition pistons, mild cam and linished crank all balanced with an EWP (bigger cooling system including Davis Craig thermo fan) electronic bosch ignition and a 465cfm Hume Carb.
C4 trans with a 2400 stall converter (B&M shift) fully rebuilt by Trans Matt along with a ford compact 8" diff and v8 tailshaft, XD disc brake front end, bigger back brakes to suit. Suspension has been lowered and beefed up with quality products to suit. 15inch Imported American Racing Wheels fitted all-round. Interior has new trim with standard look and 3000W Clarion sound.
