History
Genuine Mazda Capella RX2 sedan. Originally sold in Canberra by John Palmer Motors Canberra in 1971 where it spent its part of its life afterward sold on to a new owner in Sydney where the owner repainted it although the wrong colour white. Afterwards it was sold onto a guy in Victoria where it was stored and then repainted and any body repairs where corrected and repainted in the right colour. From this point I then purchase the vehicle, The car had always remained original all its life. Unfortunately the motor gave up and was rebuilt in 2019 but to keep it to its original form the 12A twin dizzy engine was rebuilt using RX7 rotating assembly with a small bridge port and custom flywheel to pair up to the gearbox. Additionally the Weber was fitted and electronic ignition was installed to pep up the performance a little better than it was. From this point just about everything else was repaired or replaced from brakes to driveline. Surprisingly all the chrome work and stainless remain original.
Modifications
