History
Ordered this car brand new with some specs and serial number requirements from myself as an Ex Ford Tech it is Car number 52 to go with the original XR GT car that won Bathurst in 1967 which this car is the Anniversary model of. It has been all over Australia and has completed many miles on dirt Roads now at almost 200,000Ks the day Ford Warranty finished we built the engine to go like the car looks without losing a single bit of Original GT Gear it now has 590 Kilowatts at the engine so the only change from original is the 290 sticker on the Bonnet that now says 590.
Simmons rims are on the vehicle now to help save the original rims for the future. I have personally done everything that has ever been done to this car and any part(not many) that has ever been Replaced are put away in boxes with the car serial number attached. After looking after an XR GT for 35 years I know how important it is to keep every single original part even the original wiper blades and headlight globes.
Modifications
Harrop Supercharger kit with Eaton 2600 and water to air intercoolers. Simmons rims 9.5" on the rear to try and get some traction to the road. All suspension and diff bushes changed over to Super Pro for better track handling
