I bought this vehicle when i was 18 years old and so was the car, I was a ford apprentice Mechanic at the time and had the vehicle verified by my boss who was a member of the ford Council of Australia and had been a Ford dealership for 75 years.
It was my daily driver family car for years and I bought my first Son home in it from Hospital when he was born and now he is 29 and helping me restore it. We wanted it to be done by the time it was the 50th anniversary of these cars winning Bathurst but due to being ripped off by the Panel beater I have now only just got it to the paint shop 3 years and over a $100,000 later.
