History
Purchased as a wreck in 2016, this Mini 850 has undergone a full restoration with period-sympathetic upgrades. A 1071 engine with slightly warmer cam and twin SU carburettors, feeding through a ported and polished 997 Cooper head, and breathing out via a 1-3/4 straight-through exhaust. Adjustable suspension rides on a set of period-correct Dunlop D1 wheels. This car is driven and enjoyed.
Modifications
1071 block, plus 0.040", Kent cam, ported 997 head, twin 1-1/4 SUs, 1-3/4 LCB headers and centre exit exhaust.
