A genuine Holden Overlander, buily by Arthur Hayward. Bought in show room condition, then used and abused. On mine sites and off road towing spray gear for sewer riser coating.
Modifications
Now a being rebuilt with big block this project was discussed with Arthur Hayward, who at the time he was very interested, but unfortunately he has since passed away.
308 sb Holden increase to 498 bb Chevy
T400 to 4L80E
Dana 20 transfer case to Dana 300
Trussed axles, Eaton E-lockers, geared to suit new tyres 4.56.
Wheels 15inch to 16inch with LT tyres to suit.
Engineered chassis mods.
Original leaf spring to Parabolic leaf springs (Toyota 75series)
HZ Steering column to VP (power steering pump VT)
New radiators and coolers to suit.
