A 2 day regularity event was held down at Collie a couple of weekends ago which is 3 hours south of Perth.
It was run by my club, the Vintage Sports Car Club of WA.

Unfortunately I couldn't take any Alpine action shots obviously.

Also in my group were 3 x 600hp Mustangs and 3 x Torana SLR which made it difficult into corners if they were right up your backside!!!
Mind you, one of the Mustangs blew the flywheel out through the bell housing along with the starter motor.

The FJ in the 2nd picture was pulling up to 8 grand with 3 on the tree, but I had him covered.
The E type in the 1st photo is actually the fastest E type in the world.   https://www.facebook.com/ABCGreatSouthern/posts/1260036104046110

My little Berlinette ran very well with no issues and I was very happy with the way the she was cornering and handling with the Yokohama AO 48 tyres.       i.e. I didn't fall off the track.
I finished 3rd overall in my group under 3000cc., but felt I could have done a little better as I was a second or so off in the last couple of events, as the Mustangs overtaking was causing me to change lines though some corners.
My nominated tilme was 1.05 which I found was fast and good. My fastest laps were in the 1.04.
