History
Purchased new in 1970 from Neales Trucks in Dandenong Vic. as a cab/chassis in grey undercoat. It then, after a short period of use had a caravan body built by Dolphin Enterprises {also in Dandenong} when it was painted white with a red cab and a red flash down the side. This vehicle was one of the last 6 Commers built in the Chrysler works in South Australia.
We then had 10 years of daily driving with much transporting of Riley parts, holidays, trips & rallies with The Riley Motor Club {Vic.}, towing and even a short stint as home.
Katy, as she was called {after the KTU registration prefix} then went into a lengthy period of retirement and, unfortunately , decay. I am hoping over the next couple of years to restore her back to her former glory.
