History
I purchased this bike 12 years ago in good condition except mechanically some work needed to be undertaken to improve it and / or upgrade poor condition parts including Amal Carburettors and rebuild of the front forks. The bike was originally exported from the UK to the USA before arriving here in Australia. The motorcycle is a January 1971 build, being the first month of production for oil in frame Triumphs, and has matching chassis and engine numbers.
Modifications
I have tried to keep the bike original except for sensible or need improvements including:
1. Electronic points
2. Tympanium Electronic Voltage rectifier
3. A seven plate clutch
4. Dunstill mufflers
