History
My 1977 911S originally started life as a California car, and imported to Australia sometime in the 90’s. Once on Australian shores it was converted to RHD and I believe I am the 3rd Australian owner. I purchased it in June 2018, from Albany Western Australia.
My 911 has enjoyed some cosmetic and mechanical changes and improvements over the years. The most notable being the 930 turbo wide body look. Genuine steel 930 wide body wheel arches were professionally welded onto the body and associated wide body trim pieces installed to complete the turbo look.
Australian made 3 piece Simmons wheels also complement the turbo wide body style.
The engine and gearbox are original to the car, however have been rebuilt and have incorporated some reliability modifications such as the Hydraulic timing chain tensioners, MSD ignition system, upgraded alternator, and rare factory alloy CIS air box.
The gearbox gear changing ability has improved with the factory short shift gear stick assembly.
Brakes and suspension also had a birthday by receiving some preventative maintenance including brake caliper overhaul and hoses replaced and new Koni classic shock absorbers fitted.
The interior is in great shape, but also had some of the tactile pieces replaced, the leather seats were reupholstered, roof liner replaced and the steering wheel replaced for a period correct Nardi Personal 3 spoke wheel.
These minor improvements have really transformed the driving experience, every drive puts a grin on my face!
