This is a photo of the State Bank Datto being re built, I must have some better photos of this car somewhere. Four weeks before the start of the 1986 State Bank Discovery Trial, we took the car that Alan McEwen, Malcolm Dodd and myself intended to enter, out on a local navigation rally for a shakedown and totalled it... Rolled about five times..... Bugger! We re-shelled the car and drove it to scruttaneering with still tacky paint.
10,000kms later we finished 3rd outright, 1st under 2Ltr, 1st two wheel drive and first rear wheel drive.
