History
BETYLU is my 1969 Ford F100 Styleline paddock find. It was a complete ground-up restoration with updated 4.0l EFI engine, 5-Speed transmission and creature features from a donor 1996 Falcon XG Ute.
Modifications
Taking a paddock rescue and restoring it with a modern drivetrain. Modifications are kept to a minimum, mostly around adding mod-cons such as A/C, Power Windows and Door Locks, EPAS (Electronic Power Assisted Steering), new interior, etc.
The bed is made from reclaimed Tasmanian Oak floorboards with polished aluminium strips as retainers. BETYLU has been on the road for two years now after an 8 year restoration. Having a great time showing her off at the Geelong Revival and Historic Truck & Machinery Show as well as lots of other car events.
