History
This is not actually a Lotus 7. It is a Westfield Roadster that was completed as an extra curricular project in 2013 by VET students and teacher at Marist College Ashgrove. We started the project in 2010 and worked on it with students a few hours one night a week outside school hours.
The donor engine is from a Mazda 3 (2.3L) Engine spec'ed up by Eurospeed Motorsport, Haltech IQ3 electronic dash. Tuned by Mercury Motorsport
Space frame and fibreglass shell supplied by Westfield
Auto Engineered and certification by Earl Gilchrist
Director and Principal Engineer at Autotechnica Aust (Autotechnica Qld)
This project took about 2 years to complete outside of school hours.
It goes like a red rocket!
