History
Found this in a shed on a sheep farm not far from Colac. Needs a bit of work as do most of the old girls. Doing a mechanical restoration on it to get it roadworthy and foremost, safe for Club plates, then will attack the body work as time permits. Probably the coolest shaped Holden produced in the sixties. Pity about everything else though :)
Having to put a couple of front floors in now. The rear main seal on the engine has been leaking and soaked the clutch plate, so replacing the clutch and will lift the grey out and replace all of the gaskets including the rear main seal. Best to start with a clean slate ( probably won't do the head gasket ) as someone has over tightened the sump screws and squished the cork gasket out the side which is leaking as well. Then it's just a quick reco of the brake hydraulics and reline, some suspension bushes and off we go!!
Modifications
Stock as a rock and will remain that way. Does have the No Cost Option Holden future ventilation program though. Thinking about a Fox tail for the aerial and some fuzzy dice!!
