I purchased this mini when I was 23 years old - It was a very rusty yellow brick, but I loved it nonetheless (it had no brakes when I first drove it!!) ... Over 12 years I had this restoration planned so I started buying parts, etc. and storing them in my garage. They like my family moved around, but the project still stayed firmly in my mind (It stalled a few times as we all do the responsible thing like get married, buy a home, etc) ... but as life goes tragedy strikes when we least expect it. I lost poor brick in the 2018 Townsville floods (Water went up to the roof) - When the water subsided my friend and I managed to save the engine, but the poor boy needed to be stripped and rebuilt due to mould and stinky floodwaters ruining the rest of the vehicle. SO... no time like the present (at the time) to finally do the thing I wanted to always do... Wooky got the facelift I had planned for the past 15 years. I pulled out all the stored parts and body kit from the shed and gave the old boy a new lease on life - the beast you see before you is a restored flood victim ... WOOKY :-D
