I have owned this Corolla for about 3 years.I Bought the car from an elderly lady who owned it since new in 1984. She had to hand in her Drivers licence and thats when I got it. The car was completely standard as from the factory.
Modifications
Lowered King springs and Monroe shocks all round. Koya wheels 15x6.5 with Yokohama C drive2 tyres. The original 1.3 litre motor was rebuilt. MSD Ignition and coil with electric Ignitor in Distributor, Mild camshaft from Tighe Cams, Twin 40 DCOE Webers on Redline Manifold, Extractors and a 1 7/8 inch exhaust with 1 sports muffler, Head was ported and valves and throats opened up for more flow and then shaved to get 9.8-1 compression. ARP head bolts used to hold head down. Low pressure electric fuel pump was fitted for Webers. Distributor was then recurved to match cam and fuel.
