A portfolio of original documentation that showcases a specific era & process of how a new vehicle sale actually took place in 1981. This has been captured & frozen in time on hardcopy print.
There are two hand written receipts supplied by the Mitsubishi dealership for the brand new vehicle purchase. It was paid for by cheque in February 1981 for full settlement. (In framed portrait is deposit & final payment for $10,140 brand new)
It’s also complimented with the original quality control pass sticker from the Japan manufacturing line which is still on the rear wind down quarter glass.
It has the inspectors quality control (QA) pass stamp in red ink applied to the inside cabin side of the “Mitsubishi Ok” sticker.
The interior exhibits exceptional cleanliness with rich history of tender loving care, zero modifications & almost non existent wear & tear. The general consensus & commentary from car enthusiasts has been " It looks like it was released as brand new car, just yesterday"
The original radio and cassette player has never been removed and most fasteners & clips have never been disturbed. The seatbelt compliance tags normally gets torn off and is a natural drawback of the sewn on design, however all tags are beautifully preserved.
A completely unblemished service history that is complimented with documentation support to validate the odometer reading of just 165,000 KLM along with all 40 years of maintenance works recorded with invoices stored in a large file.
The average use of the vehicle is an astonishing low amount of less than 4,000 KLM a year over it's entire life.

Modifications
All original except pedders sports ryder springs & shock absorbers , centreline alloy wheels fitted with retro BF Goodrich tyres with white writing .(original wheels stored away & preserved ).
Alpine “status” premium sound system with head deck hidden from view & mounted in glovebox to keep original radio operational & linked to the modern Bluetooth head deck.
The retro originality is preserved with original cassette and radio.
Corrosion protection wax package purchased & applied extensively to the vehicle by the dealer in 1981. (dealer upsell extras)
Exhibits outstanding preservation of all surface coatings, joints, fasteners, sheet steel and even electrode disposition coating( e-coat). This includes the inside, outside, all cavities , engine bay & underbody where the waxoyl corrosion protection was applied.
The anti corrosion compound is mostly undisturbed validating original status with many fasteners still under factory applied torque settings.
