History
Vehicle purchased 1978 in California and shipped to Perth were she under went Total conversion from left hand to right hand drive, including dash, wiring, brake lines, master cylinder, a/c and heater box, removal and refit right hand drive fire wall, a credit to the previous owner/mechanic Garry.
The vehicle had a hard life after Garry sold her, I eventually found her in a used American mussel car yard, her original paint work of Metallic Red had been cheaply painted over with white to conceal defects. I was lucky in respect on inspection the conversion had been done by a competent tradesman. The vehicle drive and steer’s as good as a new car, bearing in mind the advancement in handling and a smooth ride of todays cars are more superior, she still give the exhilaration of sitting over a left to right carriage hanging spring with the rear wheels and exhausts near.
As the photos show she was totally striped of all paint and restored to as new as possible, keeping with the original theme.
