History
This is my vc valiant. My parents brought it in the early 1980`s as a second car for my mother, and i got it from my mum in 1997. Although in excellent condition at the time i wanted to give it a respray, so me and my dad resprayed it. I drove it around as a every day car for well over 10 years, then i decided to take it of the road and give it another full rebuild. I never thought it would take as long as it did, but work life and having a family made the rebuild take over 5 years to complete. This year (2014) i decided to pull my finger out and get it finished and i got it back on the road in September 2014 on club plates. I had all the guards off, i painted behind guards, front end ect, i cleaned and rust treated the floors and repainted them in a rust kill enamel very close to original colour, i fitted dynamat to the floors & inside roof, new carpets, head lining, completely repainted and rechromed dash as per original, it had v8 ve vip seats in the front, i sold them and replaced them with a fully rebuilt and recovered bench seat as the car came out with originally, it has a rebuilt slant 6 with extractors, 2 barrel manifold and 350 holley, electronic ignition and slight cam,.
As they say they are never really finished and in 2017 i also converted it from originally a column shift 3 speed manual to now a torqueflite 904 auto which was fully rebuilt and fitted with a shift kit, has a aftermarket Davies larger transmission cooler and is column shift auto as it would have been from the factory if it left with a auto trans. Also it has vg ventilated disc brakes on the front and standard drums on the rear, and its fitted with a reconditioned vj v8 offset booster and new master cylinder to help make it stop . Its a great cruiser and im always doing something on it to improve it but this car will always be maintained and one day it will be my sons car hopefully.

Slant 6, 2 barrel manifold, 350 holley, extractors / lukey sports exhaust, electronic ignition, rebuilt 904 with shift kit & dominator stall converter and Davies Trans cooler, front vj sway bar, cm valiant braced lower control arms, vg vented disc brakes front, vj v8 offset booster / master cylinder, duel fuel, 6 " deep dish chromies.
