History
WB Ute with original X-Atal fibreglass camper conversion, only 2300 were sold. Rear roof can be removed and reinstalled in 15 minutes.
I was told that this car was owned for most of its life from new by a hippy who only put a mattress in the back for camping and music events. This seems true as even though the back has been repainted gloss black from the original cream, there are no dents evident in the back or underneath. It looks like it was never used as a ute to haul anything and has no had the typical ute abuse.
Not many of these are in existence, they are rarely seen at car shows. Some of the people I have talked to that are Holden nuts say they have heard of them but have only seen one at a car show and that was 10 years ago.
The owner also installed a Supra 5 speed for highway driving and better fuel economy over the old 4-speed M20 gearbox.
The smallest amount of rust at the back of the sills.
