History
This is one of the many Austins I had over a about a 3 year period.
Pictured here in the middle of the old 1971 dirt part of the Nullarbor Plain on our way to Perth where it was later sold for the engine.
Modifications
Large Roo bar 3 driving lights and lots of spare wheels just encase with additional 44 gallon fuel tank, fitted in the boot with "y" pieces for filling and fuel supply, along with the original 16 gallon tank, total 60 gallons ( should have seen the boys face when we pulled into Ceduna to refill ) only 1 refill from Victoria to Perth WA.
The engine was the one out of my speedway car but tuned down a little for economy.
