History
I bought this car back in 1986 approximately and only had it for about 9 months before it's life was cut short , One Friday night some friends and I went for a drive up to Mt Gravatt look out which is a steep windy incline for those that don't know it and there was a look out at the top where everybody used to hang out on a Friday and Saturday night , We were leaving and starting the journey back down the mountain as 2 cars were racing up , I came around this blind corner to have 2 cars side by side with their high beams on looking straight at me , I swerved to the side of the road to give them room and clipped the side of the mountain which tore the left hand wish bone in half and flung me back across the road straight into a tree , It wouldn't have been so bad but there was an accident on the same corner the night before and there was loose gravel all over the road , The tree hit the left hand front of the car which spun the rear to the right sending us over the side of the mountain , We slid sideways down about 50 or so feet before hitting the remains of a tree from the accident the night before , We all got out safe and the 2 racers were nowhere to be seen , It took 2 flat bed tow trucks and a standard tow truck to get us out , The photos tell the story.
