1) HX Holden 1-Tonner cab with WB front end.
2) VE Maloo R8 ute using LS3 6.2 litre, 6L80E six-speed auto, wiring loom, seats, radiator and many smaller parts.
3) GQ Nisan Patrol wagon using chassis, axles, suspensions, steering and brakes, with a GU Patrol transfer case.
Modifications
Suspension: Tough Dog 2-inch raised coils with foam cell shocks.
Custom braced rear coil towers.
Front auto LOKKA diff lock.
Rear TJM Pro Locker diff lock.
Cooper STT Pro 285/75R16 mud-terrain tyres.
Wheel track widened by 46mm.
Custom 145 litres Long Ranger rear fuel tank, plus mid-mounted 50-litre tank.
Custom made steel bullbar side steps and underbody protection.
11,000-pound electric winch hidden behind grill and bull bar.
Custom made rear tray with removable hoops and rails.
A triple battery system is hidden under tray. One is starter and two for deep cycle to run the fridge and other 12 volt accessories.
Solar and DC battery management system.
LED driving lights.
UHF radio and antennae.
Autotechnica steering wheel fitted to modified GQ steering column.
Maloo seat belts and retractable seat belts.
In-cab Dynamat sound deadening.
Original 1970's Holden Overlander fibreglass flares purchased from Auther Hayward's daughter (he was the builder of the original Overlanders).
60 Series Landcruiser side mirrors.
Modified Maloo wiring loom with traction control, anti-lock brakes, cruise control deleted.
Vintage Air airconditioning system.
