History
First built as a Gemini series car in 1998 the car never saw competition in that series. After running the car in the CAMS Qld Super Sprint Series for 2 years the Isuzu motor was replaced with the C20XE by Street & Strip Performance. The car ran for a further year with it's last event being the last Festival of Speed on Tweed before being put in mothballs until 2017 where it ran at the Noosa Hill Climb and then on sold to NSW. The car was logbooked Improved Production (3J) and had the rego maintained with all modifications being engineered. The plan to build a purpose built race car, drive it to the track, compete and then drive it home was achieved in 2010 at the last Speed on Tweed.
Modifications
Holden Nova front rotors, Toyota Hilux 4 spot callipers, Opel C20XE motor with Cosworth head, custom exhaust. 2 seater with twin 6 point harnesses. 15x7" Minilite wheels, Toyo R888 tyres. Too much to remember everything to make sure the car was safe and quick.
