Bought it 7 years ago from an importer in Perth, was from Japan originally , it has the Jap placards inside the drivers door. I ran it stock for two years then started modding it ever since with a break for a couple of years, but recently have found interest in it again.
Modifications
Was a TPI 350, but pulled it out and went with the 454 SBC dynoed @ 632HP and 585 Ft/Lb of tourque, but the Dominator carb wasnt much good for the street so I put EFI on it and now it runs awesome on the street, much more useable, also junked the original tranny so put a B & M Drag Spec T700 in it with a 2500rpm stall, still got the 9 bolt BW diff and it holds up fine so far. It now has 19 inch wheels and Corvette Z06 six piston brakes on the front and soon to have matching 4 pistons on the rear. At present its in my shed , im just touching up a few small door dents then its getting painted black with clear coat. It was put off the road by the fuzz about two years ago so just getting it legal again then hopefully get it registered once more so I can drive it. Cant wait, it has balls and sounds so nice and lumpy.
