Bought 2JZ out of a wrecked toyota ARISTO 92 model also, had motor sitting in garage to put into a HILUX (YN58) but then came across a cheap Cressida with stock 7MGE with blown headgasket, (very common). right price..
I then undertook all the conversion custom crossmember, mounts, exhaust, WIRING(6month headache), intercooler piping, fuel system, the works to much to list. 13months now COMPLETED FULLY ENGINEERED, daily driver..
ITS SELF SATISFACTION in the end..

BA xr6 FMIC.
2.5" dump pipe off turbo's then tinto a 3" system.
HKS filter.
BOSCH fuel pump- 2ltr Surge Tank.
Autometer guages liquid filled Oil/ W-Temp. Sportcomp 2 boost guage.
Cheap TurboTimer.
