History
I purchased this ute from a Concrete truck driver in Melbourne Victoria in mid 2013. I flew down and drove it home.
The only trouble its given me, is a common rail leak that took about $700.00 and 4 months to fix.
The above photo was taken in Feb. 2014. Yes that is the rabbit proof fence behind me. I am at the "Wompa" Gate in Far north west NSW 55Klm north of Tibooburra. After that cloud in the back ground dumped 4-5 inches in 20 minutes I used approx 38Lts of diesel to complete that 55Klm. YES it was tough going.
This ute is set up so I can travel with a moments notice to my 88yo mum in Adelaide if required to do so. Its been needed in the past.
Its setup to go around OZ if needed also. When I travel these days, I travel alone so she has to work everywere and get me out again.
The camper is not quite ready @ this time, but it is opperational.
If you check out my past vehicals, you will see that this is a HUGE step down from what I am used too. The poor old Patrol was just never being used for what is was built for, so she had to go. She was bought by a guy up near Darwin... I hope she is still being looked after the way I did.
