Purchased this back in 2008 while i was looking for a GU Patrol but couldn’t turn it down for the $$$. It was dead stock down to the exhaust and shockies. It had been a farmers wife’s car out near Dalby (Qld) to take the kids to school and the shopping...
After many months of work on my drive way it looks like the attached photo’s.
Added the Turbo in 2010 and the water to air intercooler in 2011. Then Motsons tuned it to 18psi and it now goes "Like a rat up an aqua-duct"
Like my Ducati 1098 it sees very little use and less use in anger...
Its been built to do the competition courses at 4wdrive parks and also long distance trips like Cape York or the Simpson...
I can get from Brisbane to Sydney and more than half way back without refueling.
ALL OF THE FOLLOWING MODIFICATIONS WERE DONE BY MYSELF. INCLUDING THE DESIGN AND MANUFACTURE OF THE CUSTOM PARTS ON MY DRIVE WAY. APART FROM THE ROCK SLIDERS AND THE TURBO & EXHAUST MANIFOLD.
