History
I wanted a Beetle so much that I flew from Melbourne to Sydney and drove this Beetle for over 10 hours straight to get it home! The car was stock when I got it except for the custom re-trimmed interior.
Modifications
Changed the carby setup from the puny single carby to larger twin Solex carbies, sports air filters, straight-through dimensioned stailess-steel extractors and exhaust, electronic ignition with high voltage Pertronix coil and leads, 165/75R14 tyres up front and 205/65R15 tyres on the rear for that hotrod look, plus other little improvements here and there.
