1946 Buick ,Body by Holden in Australia , only 3rd owner, vehicule originally from Bribie Island , previous owner restored around 2009 .
Modifications
Starting at the rear of car the following work has been done.
Rear Bumper chromed plated
Rear boot handled and unit plated
Rear tail lights glasses re coated to give colour
New Buick signs on the boot lid (Buick Eight)
Boot carpeted and tyre cover with tool compartment made.
Tool kit fitted
New Hydraulic jack and wheel Brace
New wiring to lights etc.
New exhaust pipe deflector
New exhaust tail pipe
New rear coil springs fitted
New sway bar rubbers etc
New shocker arm bushes
Diff striped and checked
New wheel bearings
New hubcaps
New stainless wheel trims
Two new rear radial tyres
Middle of car.
Fully upholstered with plush cloth
New roof lining
New carpets made to suit.
Steering wheel recoated (Red pearl finished)
Plastic Knobs recoated
New chromed door lock push downs
Windows tinted (to restrict heat)
1/4 front window frames plated
1/4 front window winders overhauled.
Door handles chrome plated
New door parts fitted
New window channeling and rubbers
All window winders overhauled
New wiring.
Modern Radio fitted
4 speakers
New light bulbs fitted
Seat front belts fitted (Not certified)
New starter button fitted. (Used to push the accelerator pedal to start engine)

Front bumper chromed plated
New sealed beam headlights
New rubber seals
New bulbs in side lamps
Stainless trim and grille polished.
Headlight Jeweled covers fitted
Hood ornament rechromed.
New Bonnet release levers fitted
Car painted with 2 pak paint (red metalic)
Engine bay painted (hammer finish)
Two new front tyres
Engine area.
Motor overhauled with new pistons and rings.
All bearings checked and reshimmed as required.
New timing chain
New gaskets.
Cylinder head fitted with hardened valve seats to suit new fuels.
Valves reground.
12 Volt Alternator fitted
New radiator core fitted
New radiator hoses
Out board oil filter fitted (Z9)
Electronic ignition fitted
New plug leads
New plugs
New coil
New wiring.
New window washer water unit fitted
Buick transfers fitted to rocker cover and air cleaner
New clutch plate and pressure plate (Holden)
Gear box striped and checked
New seals between gearbox and drive shaft tube
New fuel pump and hoses fitted
Air cleaner fitted with paper type filter (not oil bath as original)
